Storing Base Oils

Storage: Keep drums and IBCs under cover, away from direct sun and rain, ideally between 0°C and 40°C.

Containers: Store drums horizontally or covered so water cannot collect on lids, and keep bungs tight.

Contamination: Use dedicated, clean transfer equipment for each grade to protect lubricant quality.

Shelf life: Base oils are stable when sealed. Rotate stock and re-test after long storage.
